Finance Lease helps business to upgrade its fleet
Established in 2010, PMD Business Finance is an independent broker and one of the largest in the country with access to a vast panel of flexible and competitive finance options. By working both directly with clients and through suppliers of business assets, PMD provides a wide range of diverse and flexible finance solutions to a variety of industries.
PMD’s customer – a cargo and freight transportation company – was looking to upgrade its complete fleet by settling and trading in all existing MAN trucks to replace with 10 Scania trucks.
Quick completion for a smooth transition
Close Brothers Business Finance had worked with PMD’s customer previously by financing the current MAN trucks fleet. Karen Fryer, Broker Development Manager, Close Brothers Business Finance worked with Brad Garside, Business Development Director, PMD to look at suitable finance options for a new deal. The ideal solution needed to be a smooth transition between settling the finance on the current trucks and implementing a new agreement for the new trucks and avoiding loss of time on the road.
The solution was a Finance Lease product that would allow for a minimal deposit and spread the VAT cost. Working together, Close Brothers Business Finance and PMD ensured a quick turnaround of setting up the finance agreement.
Enhanced fleet will move business forward
The new trucks will provide a more efficient and improved fleet allowing for PMD’s customer to move the business forward.
